Our Approach to Player Protection
At 7jll, responsible gaming isn't a footnote buried in the Terms and Conditions. It's a core part of how we operate. The Philippines has a growing online gaming community, and with that comes a genuine responsibility to ensure that the experience we provide stays in the realm of entertainment — not harm.
Gambling, by its nature, carries financial risk. The house edge is real. Losing sessions happen. The difference between a player who keeps gaming fun and one who develops a problem often comes down to awareness, access to the right tools, and the support to use them. 7jll is built around making all three of those things straightforward and accessible from within your account.
All 7jll players — whether you're in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, or anywhere else in the Philippines — have access to the same full set of responsible gaming features from the moment they register. These aren't premium features or settings that need to be unlocked. They're standard, always available, and designed to be used proactively.
7jll operates in accordance with PAGCOR's responsible gaming framework. Our minimum age requirement of 21 years is a hard rule with no exceptions, enforced through mandatory identity verification on all accounts. We enforce it because the law requires it, and because we genuinely believe it protects people.
A Note Before You Play
Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Never use gambling to recover financial losses. Set a budget before you start and stick to it. If at any point gaming stops feeling like fun, stop — and use the tools in your 7jll account or the resources listed on this page.
Responsible Gaming at a Glance
Set Your Limits First
Before placing your first bet after registration, visit your account settings and configure deposit, loss, and session time limits that match what you're genuinely comfortable with.
Track Your Play
Use 7jll's session history and reality check features to keep track of how long you've been playing and your running net position. Awareness is the first defence.
Take Breaks Freely
Use the cool-off period feature to take a short break — 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days — without fully excluding. During a cool-off, you cannot deposit or play but your account remains open.
Self-Exclude If Needed
If you need a longer break, activate self-exclusion for 30 days up to 12 months. This suspends all access immediately. No override. No "just one more game."
Reach Out for Support
Contact 7jll's 24/7 support team or the NCMH crisis hotline. You're never alone in this — and asking for help is never something to feel embarrassed about.
Your Responsible Gaming Toolkit
Every tool below is built into your 7jll account and accessible from the Responsible Gaming section of your account settings. No forms to fill, no waiting period for most tools — just straightforward controls that work the moment you activate them.
Deposit Limits
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your 7jll account within a defined period — daily, weekly, or monthly. Once the limit is reached, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they apply.
Loss Limits
Cap the total amount you can lose across all games within a set time window. Once your loss limit is reached, access to real-money gaming is paused for the remainder of the period. This tool is particularly useful for players who tend to chase losses during a session.
Session Time Limits
Define a maximum continuous play duration for your sessions — from 30 minutes up to 8 hours. When the limit is reached, you receive a clear notification and the option to end the session. This prevents extended uninterrupted play that can impair judgement over time.
Reality Checks
Set regular on-screen reminders that appear during active play sessions, displaying your total session duration and your net win or loss position for that session. Reality checks are an effective, low-friction way to stay grounded without interrupting the game completely.
Cool-Off Period
Take a short, structured break of 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days without permanently closing your account. During a cool-off period, you cannot log in to play or make deposits. Your account, balance, and settings remain intact for when the period ends.
Self-Exclusion
For players who need a longer break, self-exclusion suspends full account access — no deposits, no gameplay, no marketing communications — for a period of your choosing from 30 days to 12 months. Exclusions take effect immediately with no override option. Contact support to extend or make permanent.
Self-Exclusion Periods & What They Cover
Self-exclusion is the most comprehensive responsible gaming tool available at 7jll. When you activate it, access to your account is fully suspended. There is no bypass, no grace period, and no way to re-access the account until the exclusion period has expired and a formal re-entry review is completed.
This is a deliberate design decision. A self-exclusion tool that lets you back in after a two-minute change-of-mind isn't a protection — it's a formality. At 7jll, self-exclusion means what it says.
| Exclusion Period | Deposits Blocked | Gameplay Blocked | Marketing Off |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 Days | |||
| 90 Days | |||
| 6 Months | |||
| 12 Months | |||
| Permanent |
To activate self-exclusion, go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion, or contact our 24/7 live chat support directly. The exclusion is applied within minutes of your request.
Signs You May Need a Break
Problem gambling doesn't always look dramatic. It often starts as small shifts in behaviour that are easy to rationalise. Here are some signs that it may be time to step back from 7jll — or any online casino — and speak to someone.
You're spending money on gambling that was set aside for rent, food, utilities, or other essential expenses.
You find yourself chasing losses — placing bigger bets to win back what you've lost, even when you know it rarely works.
You feel anxious, irritable, or restless when you're not able to gamble, or when you try to cut back.
You're hiding your gambling activity from family members — your partner, parents, or close friends in Manila, Cebu, or wherever you are.
You've borrowed money to fund your gambling, or considered selling valuables to continue playing.
Gambling has started to affect your sleep, work performance, relationships, or overall mood on a regular basis.
If any of these feel familiar
Please use the self-exclusion tool in your 7jll account immediately, and reach out to the NCMH Crisis Hotline at 0917-899-USAP (8727). Speaking to someone is always the right next step. You don't have to be in crisis to call — they're there for anyone who needs to talk.
Quick Self-Assessment
This is not a clinical test. It's a prompt to pause and reflect honestly on your relationship with gambling. If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to speak to a professional counsellor.
Do you often think about gambling — planning your next session, replaying past wins or losses — when you're not playing?
Have you ever gambled more than you originally planned to, or stayed in a session longer than you intended?
Have you ever lied to someone close to you about how much time or money you've spent gambling?
Do you feel a need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to experience the same level of excitement?
Have you ever missed work, school, or family commitments because of gambling?
Have you relied on other people to help bail you out of financial difficulties caused by your gambling?
Have you tried to stop or cut back on gambling before, without success?
What to do next
If several of these resonate with you, please reach out to the support resources listed below. Starting the conversation — whether with a counsellor, a family member, or our support team — is the most important step. 7jll's self-exclusion tool is also available immediately from your account settings.
The 21+ Age Requirement Is Non-Negotiable
Under PAGCOR regulations applicable to online gaming in the Philippines, all players must be at least 21 years of age to register and use the 7jll platform. This isn't a recommendation or a guideline — it's a legal requirement that 7jll enforces strictly and without exception.
Every account registered on 7jll undergoes mandatory age verification. Acceptable Philippine government-issued identification includes the PhilSys National ID, UMID, Passport, and Driver's License. Accounts where age cannot be confirmed, or where there is any indication of underage access, are suspended immediately pending review.
Any account confirmed as belonging to a person under 21 years of age will be permanently closed, all gameplay will be voided, and any deposits returned in accordance with applicable regulations. Winnings derived from underage play are forfeited in their entirety.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a person under 21 in your household has accessed 7jll, please contact our support team immediately via live chat so we can assist you. Parental controls and internet filtering software are also recommended for households with younger members.
